Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 June 2026

By installing, opening, or otherwise using IronMate you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose; if anything is unclear, email hello@ironmate.ai.

1. What IronMate is

IronMate is an AI training partner: an iOS app that learns your training context, remembers what you tell it, and offers personalized coaching turns, plan adjustments, and session prompts. It is not a personal trainer, a medical professional, or a substitute for either. Use your own judgment, especially around heavy loads, injuries, and recovery.

Not medical advice. Nothing IronMate says is medical, nutritional, or diagnostic advice. If you have an injury or a health condition, ask a qualified professional before training.

2. Beta release

IronMate is currently distributed via Apple TestFlight as a beta. Features may break, change shape, or disappear without notice. Data you record during beta is not guaranteed to migrate cleanly to the general-release version, though we will make a reasonable effort to preserve it.

3. Your account

4. Acceptable use

Don't:

We may suspend or delete an account if we reasonably believe it's being used in any of the above ways.

5. Photo content

The optional onboarding photo is processed as described in the Privacy Policy: sent to OpenAI for vision analysis, then deleted from our servers within 60 seconds. By uploading a photo you confirm it is of you and you have the right to use it.

6. AI output

IronMate's coach replies, plan adjustments, debrief reads, and any other AI output come from large language models trained by third parties. The output can be wrong, dated, biased, or contradict itself. Treat it as a partner's opinion, not as a directive. We don't guarantee accuracy and we are not liable for decisions you make based on AI output.

7. Subscriptions and payments

The beta is currently free. When paid plans launch, we will publish pricing in-app, in this document, and at ironmate.ai. Subscriptions are processed by Apple via the App Store; their terms govern billing, renewals, and refunds.

8. Intellectual property

The IronMate app, brand, mark, copy, and code are owned by IronMate. You keep ownership of everything you put in - your workouts, your photos (which we don't retain), your conversation turns, and your feedback. By using the service you grant IronMate a non-exclusive license to process your inputs as needed to provide the service (running them through AI processors, storing memory snippets, generating plans). That license ends when you delete your account.

9. Feedback

If you tell us how to make IronMate better, we may use the suggestion without obligation or compensation to you. That's the only carve-out from the rule above.

10. Termination

You can stop using IronMate at any time by deleting the app and your account. We can terminate or suspend your access for a material breach of these terms (notably the Acceptable Use section) or if the service is no longer offered.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties - implied or explicit - about fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI output, training results, body composition outcomes, or uptime. You use IronMate at your own risk.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, IronMate and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost gains, lost time, injuries from training, or data loss. Aggregate liability is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid IronMate in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll bump the "Last updated" date and announce material changes in-app before they take effect. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida. If you're in the EU or UK, your local consumer-protection law still applies where it overrides this choice.
